MCS Group is proud to support our client in the recruitment of a Contracts Specialist (Connections) based in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation driving change in Northern Ireland's evolving energy sector. On behalf of our client, we are hiring a dynamic Connection Contracts Specialist to help shape Northern Ireland's low carbon energy future. You will get involved in the preparation and management of contracts for strategic connection projects enabling the energy transition.
You will work in close collaboration with customers and industry stakeholders to seek opportunities to develop connection and charging policy and contractual terms to meet the evolving needs of the industry. What You'll Do:
Manage a diverse portfolio of strategically significant transmission connection projects. Deliver high-quality contract services to customers and stakeholders. Contribute to the evolution of connection policy, charging methodologies, and wider energy strategy. Act as a key point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring a smooth connection journey. What You'll Bring: A university degree in a business, technical, or engineering discipline, with at least 2 years' relevant experience.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, relationship and project/contract management skills. Commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset. Why Join?
