This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team working at the forefront of industry change. Your new role As a Research & Policy Analyst, you will support the delivery of innovative low-carbon projects, combining data analysis, research and policy monitoring to inform business decision-making. Working closely with senior stakeholders and specialist project teams, you will help evaluate programme performance, produce high-quality reports and contribute to research activities that support future growth and decarbonisation objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Analysing large volumes of operational and performance data to identify trends, insights and areas for improvement Preparing structured reports, briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Supporting the delivery and evaluation of research, pilot and demonstration projects Monitoring policy, regulatory and legislative developments across Northern Ireland, the UK, Ireland and Europe Conducting market and industry research to support business planning and future opportunities Collaborating with internal teams, regulators, academic partners and external stakeholders on strategic initiatives What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a research, analysis, economics, regulatory, policy or public affairs environment and be comfortable interpreting complex information and presenting findings clearly.
You will possess strong analytical and organisational skills, be capable of working independently, and have the ability to produce concise, well-structured written reports and briefings for a range of stakeholders. You will ideally possess:
Degree-level qualification Minimum one year's experience in a research, analyst, economics, regulatory, policy or public affairs role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience producing reports, briefings or analytical papers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on your own initiative and manage competing priorities Desirable experience includes:
Experience working with external partners or stakeholders Experience analysing and interpreting large datasets Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Interest in sustainability, low carbon technologies or environmental policy Exposure to research projects, regulatory environments or public consultation processes What you'll get in return

Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum On target annual bonus 22 days annual leave plus 11 bank holidays (this increases with length of service).
