Vorenta Groupbringstogether Hallmark Veterinary &Compliance Services and Meat &Livestock Classification(MLC),providing specialistservicesandresourcingsolutionsacrosstheUKagrifoodsector.
Workingwithorganisationsincluding Defra,APHA,theFood Standards Agencyandleadingfoodproducersandretailers ,weplayavital roleinprotectingfoodsafety,animalwelfareandpublichealth.
The RoleAsour Health&Safety Manager,you'llberesponsiblefordeveloping,implementingandcontinuouslyimprovingourhealthandsafety managementsystemsacrossmultiplesites.
Responsibilities- Leading investigationsintoincidentsandimplementingpreventativeactions.
- MonitoringlegislativechangesandensuringongoingcompliancewithUKHSErequirements.
- ManaginghealthandsafetyaspectsofourvehiclefleetandPPEprogramme.
- Workingcloselywithoperationalmanagerstoembedapositivesafetyculturethroughouttheorganisation.
We'relookingforsomeonewhoenjoystakingownership,canworkindependentlyandhastheconfidencetoinfluencestakeholdersatall levels.
You’ll ideally have- ArecognisedNEBOSHqualification(or equivalent).
- Experiencemanaginghealthandsafetyacrossmultiplesitesorfield-based operations.
- StrongknowledgeofUKhealthandsafetylegislationandISO
45001. - AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelnationally.
- Abackgroundinmanufacturingwouldbehighlyadvantageous,particularlywithinthefoodormeatprocessingindustry,althoughthisisn'tessential.
We'reequallyinterestedincandidateswiththerightattitude,strongtechnicalknowledgeandahands-on approach.
