About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to drive the success and profitability of our Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) product portfolio. Working within a global, cross-functional environment, you will identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and support the development and launch of new products. This role combines market insight, commercial decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure our product portfolio continues to meet customer needs and deliver business growth.
This is an exciting global role, coordinating across a modern, rapidly changing MNC environment. This is ideally suited to candidates with product management or business development experience; or those looking to transition to a more commercial role from a development background.
- Manage and optimise the performance and profitability of the CIJ product portfolio.
- Develop product strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Gather customer, market, and competitor insights to inform product decisions.
- Partner with regional sales teams and customers to understand market requirements.
- Define requirements and business cases for new product development projects.
- Lead early-stage project activities, including Gate 1 and Gate 2 ownership.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support the successful launch of new products through effective go-to-market planning.
- Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to maximise customer value and commercial success.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business objectives.
The successful candidate will be a customer-focused professional who enjoys working across technical and business functions. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced global environment, using market insight and strong stakeholder relationships to drive product success. The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be able to engage effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Be highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
- Have experience in product management or a related commercial role.
- Possess strong analytical and financial skills, including business case development.
- Be willing to travel internationally when required.
- Experience developing product roadmaps and translating market needs into product requirements.
- Knowledge of Lean, Agile, or Business Agility methodologies.
