NHS Lothian is excited to be recruiting a Service Improvement Manager to lead the development and delivery of improvement programmes to support service transformation through delivery of a range of high impact changes with a specific focus on improving patient flow. The Service Improvement Manager will also work to develop local capability to ensure sustainable service improvement longer term. This is a generic role which will be allocated to lead specific improvement programmes as required.

A particular focus for the role will be to support re-admission reductions and pathway improvements across West Lothian. The post-holder will be required to work closely with a large number of different services to facilitate improvements in both patient flow and the quality of patient journeys.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service.
