Senior Equality Advisor

Senior Equality Advisor position available for our client the Business Service Organisation (BSO) , at the Gasworks area, Belfast, This is a Temporary position working Full time Monday
- Friday 9am-5pm with a Pay Rate of £19.78 per hour. The Main Duties are to lead on and provide secretariat for equality chaired by the BSO Equality Unit, Lead in the consultation process for equality proofing of new policy development , Support BSO in investigating any complaints relating to their actions under its Equality Scheme and facilitating development and monitoring of annual screening/equality impact assessment (EQIA) programme.

Having working knowledge of equality legislation, including Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and the Disability Duties (2007), and the Human Rights Act 1998. What We Need From You
- Relevant university degree AND at least 2 years experience to include the following collecting, analysing and interpreting data.

- Experience in providing expert advice on policy and decision-making.

- OR Have worked for at least 5 years in an office environment with experience as listed above. What We Will Offer You
