Quantity Surveyor Construction – Stansted Mountfitchet / Bishops Stortford

We are seeking a motivated, highly driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Bishops Stortford.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be accountable for the commercial management of various new build projects across East Anglia, reporting to the Head of Surveying. Your responsibilities will include commercial support for the delivery of a range of highways services, ensuring we meet the requirements of the County Council and other clients while demonstrating value for money.

Must have experience working on commercial, educational projects valuing up to £20m.

GVR Solutions are currently representing an established main contractor, based in Essex/Hertfordshire, who are in the market for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Due to a positive increase in project workload and pipeline they are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join their team.

Job Details
  • Job Title: Quantity Surveyor & Estimator
  • Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00‑17:30 (1 hour lunch break)

About the Role
  • Commercial support for the delivery of a range of highways services within the Contracts and Commissioning Team
  • Support the development of the commercial function throughout Highways and Transport
  • Entry level is Quantity Surveyor with the opportunity to progress to Commercial Manager
