About the Opportunity

A leading international property consultancy is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to its Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team dedicated to commercial property, providing expert advice to investors, landlords, and occupiers across the full property lifecycle. The role offers exposure to a variety of high-profile projects while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The Role

As part of the building consultancy team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of commercial building surveying services, including:

• Technical Due Diligence for acquisitions and disposals
• Dilapidations and landlord/tenant negotiations
• Contract administration and preparation of specifications
• Project management of refurbishment, repair, and fit-out works

This position will give you the chance to work across offices, retail, and industrial assets, offering the variety and complexity of work needed to progress your career. You will work directly with clients and senior colleagues, providing commercially focused, solution-led advice.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related field
• MRICS status or be working towards chartership
• Demonstrable experience in core building surveying services
• A strong understanding of commercial property
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive, professional approach with strong problem-solving ability
• Full UK driving licence
