We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing construction business specialising in modular construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of high-value projects, managing all aspects of cost control, procurement, valuations, and financial reporting from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities Take full commercial responsibility for allocated projects. Prepare accurate measurements, valuations, variations, interim applications, and final accounts. Produce Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are achieved. Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and payments. Monitor cash flow and support effective cash collection processes. Attend regular commercial and finance meetings, providing accurate project reporting. Support business development activities and contribute to identifying new opportunities.

Provide regular commercial updates and reports to senior management. Candidate Requirements Essential Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry. Proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Desirable Significant experience working on groundwork, drainage, excavation, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects.

Qualification in Quantity Surveying or membership of a relevant professional body. Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and associated costs. Knowledge of construction contracts, contractual obligations, breaches, and remedies. Familiarity with a range of procurement routes and industry best practices. Awareness of current construction legislation and regulatory developments. Experience using estimating software such as Conquest. Benefits:
