Description:
Due to the award of several new contracts, we are hiring for our client, a leading construction company with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland. Our client is looking to recruit 2 experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, based in Mid Ulster. The Role:
Analyse construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements. Prepare enquiry documents and source material and subcontractor quotations, including final negotiations and orders. Regularly negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project budgets are met. Complete monthly subcontractor valuations through to final account and submit interim valuations and final accounts within agreed timescales. Liaise with clients to agree on rates/variations and provide cost analysis.
Measure works as per contract-specific schedules of rates.
The Person :
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines. HND/HNC or equivalent experience will also be considered. 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within a main contractor. Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating initiative in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project. The Rewards:
