Civil Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join a leading contractor in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, and infrastructure.

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil construction projects (earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, and infrastructure).
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.

• 3 years  experience in civil estimating or a similar construction estimating role.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Experience of work winning and tender submission.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Valid driver's licence.
• Knowledge of local civil contracts is advantageous.
