Senior Estimator position dealing withrange of commercial and residential flooring projects including painting & decorating, fit-out, strip-out and refurb Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations Producing formal quotations to customers Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database Contacting customers, dealing with queries and providing additional technical information Negotiating with clients, tier-1 contractors, project managers, quantity surveyors and internal estimating team The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Commercial flooring with:
Must have 5 years Estimating experience within the construction sector Highly advantageous to have experience within flooring, fit-out, painting, decorating or come from a closely related background Would be an ideal to have experience dealing with Tier-1 contractors Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs Ideally would have a quantity surveying degree Stable career, highly organised with good attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal IT literate (Microsoft Office) Ability to work in a fast paced environment Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction vacancies and Specification positions within:
