Senior Commercial Manager - Europe

Your new company An internationally recognised construction and engineering company, delivering complex projects across the Data Centre, Life Sciences, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Industrial sectors, currently require a Senior Commercial Manager. Operating throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, this Top Tier Contractor is committed to delivering excellence through innovation, sustainability, collaboration and engineering expertise. Your new role Due to continued expansion across Europe, this Top Tier Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to provide strategic commercial leadership across a major construction project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising project profitability, managing commercial risk, overseeing contractual obligations, and leading high-performing commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires an accomplished commercial professional with extensive experience in major projects and international construction environments. Due to the location of the project, you must be flexible for a working rotation of 17 days on site/4 days t you'll need to succeed

Essential Criteria Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years' commercial management experience within the construction industry. Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects valued in excess of €50 million. Strong knowledge of international construction contracts and commercial frameworks. Experience leading commercial teams across multiple projects and geographic regions. Excellent understanding of project finance, forecasting and cost management.

Strong negotiation, dispute resolution and stakeholder management skills. Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Europe. Desirable Criteria Chartered status (MRICS, FRICS, MCIOB or equivalent). Previous experience within data centres, life sciences, advanced manufacturing or major infrastructure projects. Experience operating within multinational project environments. Knowledge of European construction markets and procurement practices. Additional language skills would be advantageous.
