This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager looking to take ownership of the commercial performance across multiple construction projects. You'll work closely with Directors, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, ensuring projects remain commercially successful from tender through to final account. You'll oversee contract negotiations, cashflow forecasting, commercial reporting and risk management while supporting operational teams to maximise profitability and protect contractual position.
This is a strategic role where you'll influence key business decisions while ensuring projects are delivered both commercially and contractually. Should You Apply? We're looking to speak with experienced Commercial Managers, Senior Quantity Surveyors or Commercial Leads who have a strong background within construction, M&E or building services. You'll ideally have:
Proven commercial management experience within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (JCT experience also beneficial). Experience managing commercial risk across multiple live projects. Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Excellent financial reporting, forecasting and cashflow management experience. Ability to mentor and support Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Business or a related discipline would be advantageous, although equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
