Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator, this role offers a fantastic chance to grow within a reputable organisation known for its innovative approach and strong pipeline of upcoming projects. About you Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders effectively What you'll do Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for various construction projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope Gather and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities when required Identify project risks and suggest value engineering solutions Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases Support contract handovers post-bid success and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
