Aboutyou
- Previous experience as a Construction Planner within the construction industry
- Proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Asta Power project
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure
- Relevant industry experience or formal qualifications (HNC/HND or Degree) in Construction Management or a related discipline are desirable
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes from pre-construction through to completion
- Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect real-time performance
- Identify risks, delays, and critical activities, providing mitigation solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate schedules
- Produce progress reports and planning updates for internal and client meetings
- Support tender programmes, resource allocation, and project sequencing
- Assist with planning labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities to optimise project delivery
- Ensure programmes meet contractual requirements and project milestones
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and project controls
