Location:
Belfast, with regular travel across Northern Ireland, ROI and the UK Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction professional to lead multiple piling and ground engineering projects across the UK and Ireland. You'll play a key role in delivering high-profile infrastructure and construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role As Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple piling and ground engineering projects, acting as the key link between clients, site teams, commercial departments and senior management. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining excellent client relationships and leading high-performing project teams.
Key Responsibilities Manage multiple piling and ground engineering projects from commencement through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Lead, motivate and develop project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners. Maintain strong commercial and contractual control across all projects. Monitor project performance, resources, budgets and programme delivery. Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across all sites.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. Review project documentation, management plans and risk assessments. Report project progress and performance to senior management. What We're Looking For Essential Degree qualified in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. At least 5 years' experience managing piling, ground engineering or heavy civil engineering projects.
Strong understanding of piling techniques including CFA, rotary bored, driven and bored piling. Proven experience leading and developing project teams. Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Good IT skills.
