About you

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders effectively

What you’ll do

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for various construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope
• Gather and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities when required
• Identify project risks and suggest value engineering solutions
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process
• Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases
• Support contract handovers post-bid success and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
