Skope Projects is an established independent Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy with over 50 years experience working across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Belfast team.

This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of projects, work directly with clients and Partners, and play an important part in the continued development of the business.

The Role

You will provide pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a range of commercial, leisure, education, healthcare, hospitality, residential and public-sector projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing cost plans, estimates, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
• Advising clients on procurement and contract matters
• Managing tender processes and preparing tender reports
• Preparing cost reports and assessing valuations and variations
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Attending client, design team and site meetings
• Managing client and project-team relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

About You

You should have:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying
• At least five years relevant experience, preferably within a consultancy
• MRICS status or be working towards Chartership
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Good commercial, communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage several projects and client relationships
