Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading Chartered Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Consultancy practices, with a long-established reputation for delivering expert commercial advice and exceptional client service across a diverse range of sectors, has a new requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Working within a dedicated and dynamic cost team this is an exciting opportunity to work directly with repeat clients and project teams on a range of sectors.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including:

• Preparation of cost estimates and cost plans.
• Procurement advice, preparation of tender documentation (including Bills of Quantities).
• Tender analysis and recommendation reporting.
• Contract administration and commercial management.
• Valuations and payment assessments.
• Change control and cost reporting.
• Risk management and value engineering.
• Final account negotiation and agreement.
• Stakeholder engagement and client liaison.
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality consultancy services across multiple projects and

sectors.

• Contributing to business development initiatives and the development of long-term client

relationships.

About You

• Degree qualified.
• MRICS preferred, but not essential. Other professional qualifications or memberships

desirable. .

• Pre and post contract experience.
• Experience of working under construction contract terms and conditions, preferably JCT,
• NEC or similar.
• Previous experience working within a consultancy environment strongly desirable.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a client focused environment with a personal commitment to the

delivery of excellent client service.
