MEP Junior Quantity Surveyor

Your new company One of Northern Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors is seeking a MEP Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team. With over 40 years of experience, the company delivers design, installation and commissioning services across healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors throughout Northern Ireland and GB. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within the specialist MEP sector.

Your new role As MEP Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical building services projects while working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts Supporting the preparation of cost reports and forecasts Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration Monitoring project costs and commercial performance Supporting contract administration activities Assisting with the preparation of commercial reports Liaising with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors Supporting the successful financial delivery of projects What you'll need to succeed Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying role or construction environment

Experience with in MEP, building services or construction projects desirable Strong analytical and numerical skills Good commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Full UK driving licence What you'll get in return You'll join a progressive contractor that is committed to developing future talent.
