Your new company A respected construction contractor based in Belfast is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its expanding commercial team. Your new role In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.

You will review drawings, specifications and tender documentation, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to secure quotations, and assess project risks and opportunities. You will contribute to tender submissions, support bid strategies and work closely with both commercial and operational colleagues to ensure cost-effective solutions are achieved. The position requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness and the confidence to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you should have proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry and a solid understanding of construction methods, materials and pricing. You will need the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and demonstrate strong organisational skills. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office will also be important.
