Junior Electrical Contracts Manager

Your new company One of Northern Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors is seeking a Junior Electrical Contracts Manager to join its growing delivery team. With over 40 years of experience, the company provides design, installation and commissioning services across a diverse portfolio of projects within the healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work secured across Northern Ireland and GB, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious electrical professional looking to progress their career within a well-established and progressive contractor.

Your new role As Junior Electrical Contracts Manager, you will support the successful delivery of electrical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role would suit an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor, Foreman, Site Manager or Site Engineer looking to take the next step into Contracts Management.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the management of electrical projects across multiple sites Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Supporting procurement activities and project programmes Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and health & safety compliance Attending site meetings and carrying out regular site visits Assisting with project reporting and commercial tracking Supporting the resolution of technical and operational issues Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget What you'll need to succeed Electrical trades qualification or HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Experience in an electrical site supervisory, site management, or site foreman role Good understanding of electrical installations and project delivery Ability to coordinate operatives, subcontractors and site activities Strong communication and organisational skills Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office Full UK driving licence What you'll get in return In return, you'll join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation and healthy project pipeline.
