Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator , you'll join a reputable organisation with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your experience and progress within the business.

About you

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and pricing

• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software

• Excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders effectively

What you'll do

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions across a range of construction projects

• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements to determine scope

• Gather and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

• Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities when required

• Identify project risks and propose value engineering solutions

• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process

• Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases

• Support contract handovers following successful bids and contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes
