About you
Previous experience as a Construction Planner within the construction industry
Proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Asta Power project
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing
Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while working under pressure
Relevant industry experience or formal qualifications (HNC/HND or Degree) in Construction Management or a related discipline are desirable
What you'll do
Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes from pre-construction through to completion
Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect real-time performance
Identify risks, delays and critical activities, providing appropriate mitigation solutions
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to coordinate schedules
Produce progress reports and planning updates for internal and client meetings
Support tender programmes, resource allocation and project sequencing
Assist with planning labour, plant, materials and subcontractor activities to optimise project delivery
Ensure programmes meet contractual requirements and key project milestones
Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and project controls
