Project Manager | Buildings | Up to 45,000 Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland's leading multidisciplinary consultancies as they continue to grow their dedicated Project Management team in Belfast.

With an established reputation across the built environment, the business delivers projects across the leisure, education and housing sectors throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. Their Project Management team operates as a standalone discipline within the wider business, providing clients with independent project leadership from inception through to completion.

They are now seeking a Project Manager with approximately 3-5 years' experience to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of building projects. Candidates will be considered from a range of construction backgrounds, including consultancy, contractor and multidisciplinary environments, provided they have demonstrable project management experience.

Your new role as Project Manager As part of the Project Management team, you will take responsibility for coordinating and delivering building projects from initial concept through planning, procurement, design development and construction.

You will be responsible for:

Managing the successful delivery of building projects across a range of sectors

Acting as a key point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders

Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery

Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and reporting processes

Managing project risks, change control and governance requirements

Supporting procurement and contractor appointment processes

Chairing project meetings and ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescales

Monitoring programme, cost and quality objectives throughout delivery

Supporting clients in achieving successful project outcomes from inception through to completion

What you will need to succeed as Project Manager Project delivery experience:3-5 years' experience delivering construction or building projects

Previous project management experience within a consultancy, contractor or multidisciplinary environmentA degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Strong understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processes

Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing project programmes

Professional and technical experience:

Experience working on building projects across sectors such as education, leisure or housing would be advantageousNEC accreditation or experience administering NEC contracts is desirable but not essential

Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body such as APM, CIOB, RICS, ICE or RIBA would be advantageous

Personal attributes:

Strong communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive and organised approach to project delivery

Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a wider team Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset

Ambition to develop a long-term career within project management
