Your new company A well-established and growing construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its commercial team in Belfast. Your new role As Senior Estimator, you will lead the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission, ensuring competitive and accurate cost proposals are delivered on time. Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, you will assess project requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic input to support successful bid outcomes. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities Liaising with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders Supporting junior estimating staff where required Contributing to bid strategy and continuous improvement initiatives What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have:
