Based in Belfast, the organisation is a medium-sized business with a collaborative team of experienced construction professionals. Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator, you'll join a reputable company with a robust pipeline of upcoming projects, offering an excellent platform to develop your skills and progress within the industry. About you Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders effectively What you'll do Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions across various construction projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope Gather and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities when required Identify project risks and propose value engineering solutions Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases Support contract handovers following successful bids and contribute to improving estimating processes For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Co Antrim or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact James McIntosh for a confidential discussion IND
