The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth across the Companies Building Surveying service line, they are seeking an ambitious and motivated Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their Belfast office.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of public and private sector clients across Northern Ireland and the wider island of Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering professional building surveying services and project work across a broad spectrum of sectors.
Working within a dynamic and growing team and reporting directly to Associate Directors and Directors, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including:
- Commercial

- Industrial and Logistics
- Heritage and Conservation
- Mixed-Use and Regeneration Schemes
The Ideal Person:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or working towards Chartership
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment
- Strong technical knowledge of building pathology, construction methods and property legislation
- Experience delivering a range of professional building surveying services
- Experience managing refurbishment, alteration and maintenance projects
- Knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC forms
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Commercial awareness and understanding of client requirements
- Experience working in a client-focused environment with a commitment to excellent service delivery
- Positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to business growth and team development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with AutoCAD and project management software desirable
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland as required
- Desirable to have skills, knowledge and experience to act as Principle Designer for CDM regulations
