Position: Quantity Surveyor R-165493
Your new company Hays are working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their established Complex Projects team. Your new role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, contractors and other construction professionals, supporting major projects and taking responsibility for smaller commissions.

Your responsibilities will include:
Contract administration of NEC4 contracts across varying main options Budgeting, forecasting, risk management and cost reporting Processing payments and responding within contractual timescales Cost planning and reporting in line with project programmes Liaising directly with clients and key stakeholders Attending sites and completing interim valuations where required Assisting with the assessment and agreement of final accounts Building and maintaining strong client relationships What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant experience

Experience with in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management Knowledge of standard methods of measurement Strong commercial, numerical and communication skills Good IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team An understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience would be advantageous An interest in working towards Chartered status with RICS or an equivalent professional body What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded consultancy with a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
