Volunteer Retail Till & Customer Service

Oxfam's Romsey shop is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join the Sunday team as a Till / Customer Service Volunteer. You'll be the welcoming face of the shop, helping create a warm and positive experience for customers and donors alike.

This is an ideal role for anyone who enjoys meeting people and wants to support a busy charity shop in their community.

• Providing excellent customer service at the till
• Handling transactions with accuracy and confidence
• Welcoming and chatting with customers and donors
• Accepting and processing donations
• Sorting, selecting, and pricing donated items
• Labelling donations clearly to help maximise income

• Confidence speaking with customers
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Reliability and willingness to learn
• No experience needed - full training and support provided
• Relevant qualifications or training are helpful but not essential

• Experience in customer service and retail
• Improved communication and teamwork skills
• Increased confidence in a public-facing role
