Working within a fast-paced environment, you will manage a range of enquiries, service requests and administrative processes while maintaining excellent levels of customer service. Key duties will include:
Handling inbound and outbound customer calls and emails. Responding to customer enquiries and service requests in a professional and timely manner. Recording and updating customer information across internal systems. Coordinating appointments with customers and field-based operatives. Supporting the scheduling and administration of maintenance and connection activities. Managing customer complaints and ensuring issues are resolved or escalated appropriately. Processing documentation, certifications and completed works records.
Assisting with emergency response call handling and ensuring accurate information is recorded. Providing general administrative support to the wider team. Maintaining compliance with company procedures and data protection requirements. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths. At least 2 years' experience within a contact centre environment dealing with high-volume telephone enquiries, or 3 years' experience within a customer-facing environment.
At least 2 years' administration experience, including call handling responsibilities. Strong IT skills and experience using multiple systems. Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
Experience of appointment scheduling, diary management, data input and complaint handling would be advantageous. This is a permanent full-time position working 37 hours per week. 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am - 4.30pm on a Friday with a requirement to work one late night per week which will be agreed upon commencement.
