Donnington Grove Veterinary Group is one of the largest vets in the area. We have three practices based in Newbury, Thatcham and Tadley which means we have a large client base as well as many loyal and long-standing clients. Our receptionist's focus is to provide excellent customer service and make the clients experience the best it can be.

This is a part-time position based at our Tadley branch but there may be a requirement to travel to Thatcham and Newbury. The role is fixed‑term for

Ideally, you will:

Have great organisational skills

Have good communication skills

Be able to work different shifts and some weekends on a rota basis

Have prior experience working in a customer service role

Work pattern

• Monday: 1:30pm–7:00pm
• Tuesday: 2:30pm–7:00pm
• Friday: 2:30pm–7:00pm
• Every 1 in 10 Saturdays:
  Tadley TOIL

We require someone who can work well under pressure, is a team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will need a confident and friendly telephone manner as many client interactions are telephone-based.

Excellent equine knowledge is essential as you will be answering emergency phone calls. Full training will be provided for the role; however, you will need to be competent in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
