From answering calls to welcoming clients into the hospital, youll help people feel listened to and supported while keeping reception running smoothly.

What youll do Working closely with the hospital team, youll:
Welcome clients and their pets, checking them in for their visit. Answer telephone enquiries clearly and courteously. Keep client records and hospital paperwork accurate and up to date. Explain financial contributions sensitively and encourage clients to contribute appropriately towards their pets care. Manage competing priorities and respond to changing demands on a busy reception. Some clients may be worried about their pet or facing difficult circumstances.

Youll need to stay calm, show empathy and handle sensitive conversations with care. What youll bring You dont need previous veterinary reception experience. Were looking for someone who has: A friendly, professional approach and a commitment to excellent customer service. Clear communication skills and a confident telephone manner. Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise when things get busy.

Confidence using computers and keeping accurate records. A reliable, flexible approach and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
