Architectural Assistant or Technician

Dot Projects is a small, design‑led architectural practice based in Belfast, working primarily on high-quality residential projects, including sensitive extensions, refurbishments of period properties and new build homes for individual clients.

Due to a busy period with several projects moving on site, we are looking for an experienced Architectural Assistant or Technician to provide temporary / contract support.

• Technical drawing packages for residential projects
• Assisting with construction information and coordination
• Working independently on defined tasks, with clear direction and support where needed
• Potential flexibility around hours, duration and working arrangement

• Minimum 5+ years professional experience
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
• Confident taking direction and integrating into a small practice setup

Software:
Vectorworks – highly beneficial, Autocad – essential, Sketchup – beneficial but not essential

• Temporary / contract role with potential to grow.
• Terms negotiable depending on availability, duration and skillset.
• This role would suit someone looking for flexible, project‑based work within a small, friendly practice.
