Senior Architect

Senior Architect – Belfast. We are recruiting a permanent, full‑time Senior Architect for a rapidly growing architectural practice with landmark projects across both the private and public sectors in Ireland.

We are looking for a dynamic professional ready to own projects, lead teams, and influence outcome. The role is not a "keep‑the‑seat‑warm" position but one of ownership, influence, and front‑line leadership.

As a Senior Architect, you’ll take the reins on your own projects from concept through delivery, acting as a trusted point of contact for clients while steering a full, multi‑disciplinary design team. You’ll be based in the Belfast office and work closely with colleagues who value collaboration, accountability and quality work.

• Leading projects end‑to‑end, from early design through technical delivery
• Managing client relationships with confidence and credibility
• Coordinating and leading full design teams (consultants, contractors, stakeholders)
• Producing and overseeing high‑quality technical drawings and documentation
• Contributing to a growing practice with exciting, diverse work across Ireland

• Minimum 5 years’ experience at Senior Architect level
• Strong technical capability with demonstrable project delivery experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Experience running your own projects and leading design teams
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills
• Chartered Architect status with ARB/RIBA/RIAI

• Passihaus accreditation
• Conservation
• NEC accreditation

• Office‑based role in Belfast
• Monday–Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (early finish)
