We are now looking for an Estate Ranger to join us on a fixed-term contract for two and a half years. This is a full-time role, although part-time working will also be considered.
The Benefits- Salary of £32,597 - £36,363 per annum (pro rata)

As an Estate Ranger, you will support the effective day-to-day management of Exmoor National Park Authorities' land, buildings and other assets.
Working closely with the Estates Manager, you will co-ordinate practical work, address operational issues and manage smaller projects across the estate.
Alongside managing the estate on the ground, you will help promote its purpose and engage local communities and visitors with projects taking place across ENPA land.
About You- - Experience supporting commissioning systems for countryside management
- - Experience of project management and the ability to identify, plan and deliver projects
- - An understanding of rural issues and experience in countryside management
- - Experience of working with hand tools such as chainsaws and brush cutters
- - Good practical skills in estate and countryside management
- - The ability to understand and work with technical documents, interpret geographical information and navigate effectively in remote areas and under various weather conditions
- - Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety legislation and its application
- - Competency in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and GIS
- - A degree level in countryside management, a relevant subject or equivalent experience
