Design Technician

We are seeking a technically minded and creative Design Technician to join our Design Studio in Portadown.

The successful candidate will have experience in design software and the ability to work on projects from a technical perspective, while maintaining a strong understanding of creative design. The role will involve close collaboration with the Design Studio and other departments across the business.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in design software
• A project-focused approach and the ability to liaise effectively with other departments.
• The ability to demonstrate creativity.
• The ability to understand and apply technical concepts and techniques.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team.
• A third-level design qualification or related discipline.
• A technical understanding of aspects of interior or textile design.
• Previous experience within a design, technical or manufacturing environment.
