We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a high-performing Sixth Form setting from September 2026. This is a permanent or fixed-term opportunity within a well-established Social Sciences department, teaching Year 12 and Year 13 students.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, confident teaching at A Level, and committed to delivering high standards of academic achievement.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons at Key Stage 5
• Prepare students effectively for A Level examinations
• Monitor, assess and track student progress in line with departmental expectations
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support academic development
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Social Sciences department
• Support students with university applications and future pathways where appropriate
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic engagement
• Follow safeguarding, assessment and school policies at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in Psychology or a closely related subject
• Experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 5
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of A Level specifications
• Ability to motivate and challenge high-attaining students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
