Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide small group and occasional 1:1 support
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Support pupils with varying abilities to access the curriculum
• Help track pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers

• Have previous experience working in a school or with children/young people
• Be confident supporting literacy and numeracy
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be proactive, organised, and adaptable
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for education
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
