Key Highlights Graduate Teaching Assistant full-time, long-term role £95 £ 110 per day, depending on experience September 2026 start Opportunities available across Greenwich, South London Full academic year until July 2027 Previous experience with children is advantageous but not essential Excellent experience before teacher training or a career working with young people What You'll Be Doing Providing classroom support to help pupils engage confidently with their learning Leading one-to-one and small group interventions where additional support is needed Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and learning resources Encouraging pupils to develop independence, resilience and positive study habits Monitoring progress and offering feedback to teaching staff Helping create a positive, inclusive and well-organised learning environment Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant for Schools in Greenwich Hold a degree with a strong academic background, ideally a First or 2:1 Demonstrate excellent GCSE and A Level results Show enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their development Experience working with young people is welcomed but not essential Possess excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude Be available to work full-time throughout the academic year from September Why Join Schools Across Greenwich?
