The Assessment and Curriculum Office is responsible for the management of assessment and student progression, as well as ensuring processes are accurate and efficient. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in providing vital operational support to ensure smooth assessment and examination operations, research degree assessments, and governance functions.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting all assessment and examination operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining and updating student records related to assessment, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinating with staff, students and external bodies to ensure timely delivery of assessment outcomes.
- Contributing to governance functions, including policy interpretation and application.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Confident use of IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, student records systems).
- Strong numeracy and data-handling skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations and policies.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service to students and staff.
