Are you an enthusiastic educator with a passion for sparking curiosity in young minds? Cranleigh Prep is looking for an inspirational part‑time Science Teacher to join our vibrant department. Teaching across Years 6, 7, and 8 (Upper KS2 and KS3), you will deliver engaging, practical lessons that foster a love for scientific discovery.

This role is consolidated into three fixed days (Mon/Thu/Fri), offering a fantastic work‑life balance. It is equally suited to a secondary science specialist, a Key Stage 2 teacher with a science specialism, or an outstanding Early Career Teacher (ECT).

• Inspire in the Classroom:
  Plan and deliver dynamic, well‑resourced science lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities across Years 6–8.
• Support Pupil Growth:
  Track assessment, set engaging prep, and create a stimulating, high‑energy learning environment.
• Engage in School Life:
  Contribute to our co‑curricular activities programme (one after‑school activity per week), act as Tutor Support for Year 8, and assist with pro‑rated boarding evening duties (no more than two per term, up to 20:15).
• Collaborate:
  Work closely with the Science Department, academic leadership, and parents to maintain high academic and disciplinary standards.

• Qualifications:
  
  A good honours degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience:
  
  Proven track record or training experience teaching KS2/KS3 Science.
• Attributes:
  Imagination, a good sense of humour, high standards, and a drive to participate fully in a thriving school community.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent communication, strong organisation, solid IT skills, and a collaborative approach.
• Desirable:
  First Aid certification, minibus driving capability, or prior experience in a boarding/co‑educational environment.
