Shine Lincolnshire are currently recruiting for a Community Education Manager to join their team.

The Community Education Manager will lead the planning, development, delivery and continuous improvement of adult learning programmes, ensuring provision is inclusive, high quality and responsive to learner, community, organisational and funding requirements.

The post holder will manage programme performance, support tutors and training staff, maintain quality assurance and compliance standards, and promote learner achievement, progression and positive outcomes across Shine Lincolnshire and Wright Way Sports & Education provision.

Hours:37.5 hours per week (full time)

Work Base:Working across Lincolnshire

Salary: From £30,000

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Programme Management
  • Lead the planning, development and delivery of adult learning programmes.
  • Ensure all programmes meet organisational objectives, learner needs and funding requirements.
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies that promote inclusion, learner progression and achievement.
  • Monitor programme performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage learner recruitment, retention, attendance, achievement and progression.
  • Support organisational growth through the identification of new training opportunities and partnerships.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Maintain contract compliance with funding organisations, awarding organisations and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of schemes of work and lesson plans across all adult learning delivery.
  • Develop and oversee internal quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct lesson observations, learning walks and quality audits of other tutors where appropriate.
  • Monitor learner outcomes and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate learner documentation, enrolment documents, assessments and evidence portfolios.
  • Support preparation for inspections, audits and external quality assurance visits.
Teaching and Learning
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment to adult learners.
  • Plan and prepare engaging learning sessions that meet individual learner needs.
  • Differentiate learning to support varying abilities, backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Promote inclusive learning environments that encourage participation and achievement.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, resources and digital learning platforms.
  • Assess learner progress through formative and summative assessment methods.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to support learner development, achievement and progression.
Learner Support and Progression
  • Conduct initial assessments and identify individual learning needs.
  • Develop and review individual learning plans (ILPs) or personal learning records (PLRs).
  • Monitor learner attendance, engagement, and progress.
  • Provide pastoral support and signpost learners to additional services where required.
  • Provide ongoing IAG opportunities to learners including pre course, during course and post course.
  • Support learners into further education, employment, apprenticeships, or career progression opportunities.
  • Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding throughout all learner interactions.
Team Leadership and Staff Development
  • Support, mentor and train tutors and other training support staff.
  • Share good practice across teaching and learning teams.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction and development of teaching staff.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and training sessions where required.
  • Foster a culture of continuous professional development and high performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop positive relationships with employers, community organisations, awarding bodies and funding partners.
  • Support the development of employer-led training programmes.
  • Engage with local partners to identify opportunities for learner recruitment and progression.
  • Represent the organisation at networking events, meetings and forums.
Safeguarding and Health & Safety
  • Actively promote safeguarding, Prevent and learner welfare.
  • Report concerns in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
  • Ensure safe learning environments for learners and staff.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
