Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover ASAP)

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Needs Department The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a love of learning and contributing to our dynamic and forward-thinking department.

The successful candidate will:

  • care deeply for the wellbeing and academic success of all our pupils.
  • have experience at supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
  • be able to provide engaging learning opportunities for pupils in small groups, as well as supporting in a classroom setting.
  • be highly motivated, inspire a love of learning and ensure all pupils achieve the highest possible academic standards.
  • have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • be a true team player.
  • have excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • have a 'can do' attitude to problem solving.

The ability to provide learning support through the medium of welsh would be an advantage but not essential.
