* About the Role:

** As an Inclusion Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across primary and secondary schools in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. As part of our Experts at Hand offer, Inclusion Leads will coordinate and deliver targeted support within their designated school clusters, ensuring that schools can access timely, high-quality, and well-coordinated expertise.

Through this role, Inclusion Leads will strengthen inclusive practice, build school capacity, and promote effective collaboration across education services to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Acting as the single point of contact for a designated cluster of schools, developing strong relationships, and maintaining a clear understanding of individual school priorities and needs.
* Line managing and working in close partnership with the Cluster Coordinator to ensure support is planned, coordinated, and delivered effectively.
* Leading and delivering whole-school elements of the support menu, providing strategic guidance and capacity-building that promotes inclusive practice across schools.
* Identifying emerging needs, coordinating appropriate interventions, and ensuring that support is provided at the right time, in the right place, and by the right professionals.
* Facilitating communication between schools and specialist services, ensuring a seamless and responsive approach to support.
* Monitoring the impact of provision across the cluster and contributing to the continuous development of the Experts at Hand offer.
** Qualifications and

Experience:

*** Qualified teacher status.
* Significant experience working with children and their families in schools and settings
* Recent leadership experience in inclusion.
* Experience working with children with a wide range of individual needs.
* Proven ability to work effectively with adults to develop their practice.
* Relevant training related to inclusion and working with children with special needs.
** Personal Qualities:
*** Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
* Effective interpersonal skills to develop solutions to complex problems.
* High levels of resilience and motivation to improve outcomes for children.
* Professional integrity, open and honest.

* Job Requirements:

*** Enhanced DBS & Children’s Barring required.
* Must be able to travel using public or other forms of transport or hold a valid UK driving licence.
