The Federation of Cowick and Pollington-Balne CE Primary Schools is seeking to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 1 to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a named child in our Reception class s is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team that is passionate about helping every child flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, SEND staff, parents and external professionals to provide high-quality support tailored to the child's individual needs. We are looking for someone who is patient, flexible and able to build positive relationships with children and families.

• Experience of working in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.
• Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including supporting children who are neurodivergent, e.g. those with autism and ADHD
• Ability to support children’s learning, development and well-being.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A willingness to contribute positively to the life and values of the school.
• Experience of supporting children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Knowledge of strategies that support communication, emotional regulation and inclusion.

This post is offered on a fixed-term basis and will cease when the support is no longer required or when the named child leaves the school.
