SEN Tutor

TP Tutors is expanding its network of SEN Tutors across Kent and is seeking experienced education professionals to provide personalised one-to-one tuition exclusively to primary and secondary SEN learners.

You’ll support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and work towards their individual goals.

• Pay:£20–£25 per hour

  One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings or learners’ homes

You will:

• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition for SEN students
• Plan and adapt sessions around individual needs
• Support learners across primary and/or secondary education
• Develop academic skills, confidence and independence
• Monitor, assess and record progress
• Build constructive relationships with families, schools and other professionals
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Applicants should have:

• Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people
• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education
• Experience supporting learners within mainstream and/or specialist SEN settings
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to support primary and/or secondary SEN students
• Ability to travel across Kent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
