Power Stations Operations Technician Our client is hiring several Power Stations Operations Technicians to support operations across two major power generation sites in County Antrim. The successful candidates will follow a structured training and development programme, gaining hands on experience with complex plant and building a long term career in power generation. Based across Kilroot and Ballylumford, the role is initially focused on Monday to Friday training before moving to a rotating 12 hour shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends.

This onsite working arrangement provides valuable practical exposure across both facilities and the opportunity to develop highly specialised operational expertise. The Role:

* Operate and monitor power generation plant and associated systems
* Complete routine inspections and identify potential faults
* Start, synchronise, load and shut down generating units
* Respond appropriately to alarms and changing plant conditions
* Apply plant and equipment isolations to support safe maintenance
* Maintain accurate operational logs, reports and shift handovers
* Develop knowledge across mechanical, electrical and process systems

The Person :
* Practical technical experience in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, production, utilities or another technically focused environment
* Strong technical aptitude and practical problem solving ability
* Genuine interest in how equipment and systems operate
* Strong safety awareness, initiative and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant apprenticeship, HNC, HND, foundation degree or technical degree advantageous
* Driving licence and access to transport highly desirable The Rewards:
