About the Role You will oversee daily engineering operations, support the Service Desk, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers. The role combines people management, technical problem-solving, customer engagement and Health & Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of security engineers.
• Conduct performance reviews and support training needs.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS preparation.
• Provide expert support in servicing, fault-finding and commissioning of electronic security systems.
• Assist with network-based systems including fibre optic, LAN/WAN and telemetry technologies.
• Act as a point of contact for key customers and attend customer meetings.
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support.
• Support internal processes such as stock control, order handling and job closing.
About You
• NVQ Level 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent experience.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or similar H&S qualification).
• Strong technical skills across CCTV, Access Control, Intercom and Intruder systems.
• Knowledge of digital electronics, TCP/IP networking, UFE’s and Windows OS.
• Well-organised, self-disciplined and customer focused.
• Effective communicator with strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Able to solve problems under pressure and guide others effectively.
• Keen to stay updated with new technologies and industry trends.
